The regional “Our Farmers” 2026 conferences, held in Timisoara, Craiova, and Iasi, continued the initiative launched in previous editions, bringing to the forefront the future of Romanian agriculture and the shared responsibility of all stakeholders involved. In a context marked by climate, economic, and technological challenges, these meetings have become true platforms for dialogue among farmers, specialists, and agribusiness leaders.
The central theme of the conferences reflected an increasingly evident reality: high-performing agriculture is built through the involvement of everyone who is part of this ecosystem. Every link in the agricultural chain plays an essential role in the evolution of this sector.

The conference in Timisoara opened the series of events, bringing together farmers from the western part of the country in a dialogue focused on technology and efficiency. In a region known for agricultural performance, discussions addressed farm digitalization, cost optimization, and adaptation to climate change. At the same time, it was emphasized that rapid adaptation to market and environmental changes is essential for maintaining competitiveness.

The conference in Craiova highlighted the specific challenges of agriculture in the southern region, particularly those related to climate conditions. Participants emphasized the need for sustainable solutions and the importance of collaboration between farmers, partners, and authorities. The dialogue showed that trust and open communication are fundamental in building partnerships that support long-term development.

The event in Iasi concluded the conference series, highlighting the potential of agriculture in the Moldavia region. The theme of responsibility was approached from the perspective of the direct involvement of each actor in the sector. An important point of discussion was the role of the new generation of farmers. Young people see agriculture as an opportunity to innovate and actively contribute to building a sustainable future, bringing new ideas and openness to technology.
The three regional conferences demonstrated that, beyond the specifics of each area, the challenges and objectives are shared. Romanian agriculture has resources, potential, and dedicated people. Solutions exist, and progress depends on the ability to leverage them through collaboration, responsibility, and openness. The Regional “Our Farmers” 2026 Conferences reconfirmed that the future of agriculture is built together.
The Regional “Our Farmers” 2026 Conferences were organized in partnership with ADAMA, Siad, and Aon Romania.
Next up: the first edition of the Romanian Agriculture Awards and the 10th edition of the RALF Romanian Agriculture Leadership Forum, on November 10–11, at JW Marriott, Bucharest.
