The Health Policies Xgroup took place on 26 September 2019, during the fourth edition of the ROHO Romanian Hospitals Convention, in Bucharest. The meeting, organised in partnership with Philips, was moderated by Dr. Marius Geantă, President of the Center for Innovation in Medicine. Topics discussed: what the health system in Romania will look like in the next 10 years, for the patient and for the medical staff, and how the institutional environment will change; public policies referring to access to health, investments in infrastructure and the role of data – digitization in this process of system development; financing sources for digitization; interinstitutional projects and the implementation plan for a sustainable and digitized health system.

Dr. Marius Geantă 

President of the Center for Innovation in Medicine

Center for Innovation in Medicine is an organisation that aims to shorten the time between the emergence of innovations in the medical sector and their application so that they can benefit patients.

Dr. Levente Vass

Secretary of the Committee for Health and Family, Chamber of Deputies, Romania

Dr. Levente Vass is a urologist, with a second specialization in public health and health management. Prior to joining the Committee for Health and Family, he was Medical Director of the County Emergency Hospital in Târgu Mureș and personal counsellor for two Ministers of Health, between 2010-2012. 

Dr. Raul Pătrașcu

He has contributed to the creation of public health policies in the USA and succeeded to increase the funds allocated to oncological research

Raul Patrascu developed expertise in medical research on cancer, working alongside world-renown specialists at hospital-research centers such as Johns Hopkins and Yale-New Haven Hospital. 

Dr. Carmen Orban

General Manager Monza Group Romania

Monza Group Romania: Monza Hospital, the Monza Medical Centre, the Ritmico Clinics, the Monza-Ares Centres, the Monza Metropolitan Hospital and the Monza-Ares Hospital. Dr. Cristian Vlădescu

Director, National School of Public Health, Management and Development in Health, Bucharest

+30 years of experience in the Romanian healthcare system: President of the Commission for Public Health of the Ministry of Health, President of the Presidential Commission for the analysis and elaboration of public health policies,  and Director of the National Health Insurance House. 

Gabriel Friptu

Deputy Director General, Romanian Ministry of European Funds

Gabriel Friptu works on the General Directorate for Programming and System Coordination within the Romanian Ministry of European Funds and has over 18 years experience in the field of European funds.

Eduard Dobre

Executive Director of Patronage of Private Medical Services Providers – PALMED

PALMED is the main national “voice” for lobby and advocacy, the main promoter supporting private providers of medical services in Romania and patients’ right to quality medical services, at an affordable price, since its establishment in 2007.

Openville va reprezenta o destinaţie cosmopolită de lifestyle, care va include: şapte clădiri de birouri, 450 de magazine, un parc de peste 55.000 mp, restaurante şi cafenele tematice, un nou concept de cinema, carusel pentru copii şi săli de evenimente. Valoarea investiţiei este de peste 220 de milioane de euro.
