The Role of Large Farms in the Community Xgroup took place on the 29th of November 2019 within the fourth edition of RALF International Large Farmers Forum in Bucharest. The meeting, organized in partnership with Bayer, was moderated by the journalist Cătălin Lența. Topics: the role of large farms in developing their communities, how do we build a trusting relationship between producer and consumer, the impact of the investments in agriculture on the economic development of Romania, access to innovation and new technologies, financing of agriculture.

Prof. Dr. Toma Adrian Dinu
Dean of the Faculty of Management, UASVM Bucharest, about the evolution of large farms in Southern Romania
Toma Dinu became Full Professor in Farm Management at the USAMV Bucharest in 2008. Between 2005 and 2007 he worked as a General Director of the General Directorate for Agricultural Policies in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

TSC Agral Mixt Group of Companies in Andrieșeni has 45 employees. On the over 3000 hectares they grow corn, wheat, sunflower, soybean, etc. The company also owns animals, 1000 sheep and almost 100 cattle.

Vasile Iliuță is the President of the Calarași County Council and shareholder of 6 agricultural companies. The farmer has accessed non-reimbursable funds worth 2.8 million euros, thus managing to set up an ultra-modern farm.
