With an experience of over 20 years in agriculture, Margus Muld has been awarded as farmer of the year 2017 in Estonia, just one year after receiving „best dairy herd manager in Estonia” award.

Alexander Shyrokih

Manager, LUBIMOVKA LTD, + 6100 ha, UKRAINE

The “Lubimovka Ltd” farm is cultivating 6100 ha of field crops in the areas located in Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine. The Lubimovka farm is cultivating mostly sunflower, winter oilseed rape and winter wheat. There are 105 employees working on the farm.

Since 2011, PhD. Luis – Carlos Alonso has been appointed for several Global oilseed positions in Syngenta, including Global Sunflower/OSR Marketing, Global Sunflower/OSR Crop Expert and since 2015, Global Sunflower/OSR Business Development lead.

General Manager – Agrargenossenschaft ”Höhe”, + 2300 ha, GERMANY

The company Agrargenossenschaft ”Höhe” manages over 2300 hectares and has over 1000 cattle. Also, the farm owns a milk factory and is selling products on the local market. 34 employees work on the farm.

Maira Dzelzkalēja – Burmistre

Project Manager, Vilciņi-1, + 2200 ha, LATVIA

 The farm specializes in grain cultivation and high quality crops. In 2003 the farm decided to start practicing precision agriculture to ensure that the right amount of nutrients are used and that any overlap in distribution is minimized.

Gelios-1 is an agro company with 18 years of experience in this same industry. Operates over 5000 hectares in Kherson region. The company has a diversified portfolio that focuses on the production, processing and storage of cereals, vegetables and pulses. The farm has one of the highest level of productivity per hectare in Ukraine.

Dirk Peters

General Manager, AGRO-FARM GMBH NAUEN, + 2500 ha, GERMANY

Dirk Peters is very active in the local farming association and since 2015, he is chairman of the local farmer’s association in Havelland. The Havelland covers an agricultural area of 90.000ha where around 500 agricultural holdings are cultivating the land.

Harm Kalfsbeek

Administrator, Europefarming, + 2100 ha, HUNGARY

Harm Kalfsbeek moved from the Netherlands to Hungary in 2002, as an administrator of a 300 hectares farm. Today, Europefarming, located on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, Siófok and its surroundings, has over 2100 hectares of land and provides complete agricultural work for several partners.

RALF was a breath of fresh air in the sea of larger or smaller specific events, due to the fact that, apart from the always productive meeting with friends, with colleagues, with collaborators from Romania, the foreign personalities invited shared many agricultural secrets from Finland, the Great Britain, Germany, Poland, sharing the experience of much better developed countries than Romania. Even though we have plenty of models of success among us, the approaches of farmers from other European states are always very useful for developing business and finding solutions to make current activity more efficient. The decision to organize an 8-hour (!) conference was very brave, but the choice of speakers was very inspired, making the 8 hours very interesting, from start to finish.

I am at the first RALF conference and the first with foreign farmers. The difference from other Romanian conferences, that are all the same, is clear. Such an event must be held annually. Other top farmers or agricultural organizations from countries with tradition should be brought in to present us their experience, why not, even from Brazil. For example, we have made a very good contact with KRIR Poland and hope to start a collaboration with the farmers there.

Openville este cel mai mare proiect de tip mixt din vestul României, aflat în plină dezvoltare în centrul Timişoarei, în proximitatea Iulius Mall. Acesta va fi principalul pol de business, retail şi entertainment din regiune şi va fi inaugurat în primăvara anului 2019, odată cu finalizarea primei etape. Openville va reprezenta o destinaţie cosmopolită de lifestyle, care va include: şapte clădiri de birouri, 450 de magazine, un parc de peste 55.000 mp, restaurante şi cafenele tematice, un nou concept de cinema, carusel pentru copii şi săli de evenimente. Valoarea investiţiei este de peste 220 de milioane de euro.
