Ion Georgescu
Mayor of Mioveni, Argeş County, about the new hospital in Mioveni.
As economist, Ion Georgescu holds a Master in Financial Management, graduating from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Craiova. He has a solid and extensive experience in public administration, where he has been active for more than 19 years, occupying successively the post of deputy mayor in 2000-2006 and mayor of Mioveni since 2006.

Prof. Dr. Marius Craina
Manager, Emergency County Hospital ”Pius Brinzeu” Timisoara. +30 years experience in the Romanian Healthcare System.
He specializes in laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and laser surgery. Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Victor Babeş University of Medicine and Pharmacy. His work has been internationally awarded in the US, Hungary, and Serbia.

Venera Vlad
Associate Director, EBRD Infrastructure, Europe.
Venera Vlad is responsible for leading the Infrastructure business in Romania and Poland at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), a portfolio of approximately EUR 1 billion of investments, including loans to local authorities, municipally-owned utilities and companies as well as private sector financing.

Dr. Carmen Angheluță
Counselor in the Department of Regional Hospitals of the Ministry of Health
Dr. Carmen Angheluță, primary public health and management doctor, has over 25 years of experience in the field of health project health designer, creates the medical services, the secure patient. She is currently a Counselor in the Department of Regional Hospitals of the Ministry of Health, providing expertise to optimize the organization and functioning of regional emergency hospitals, administering the necessary services for staff and patient safety.

Owner of Gral Medical
Presents the new OncoFort Pitesti Hospital, the largest oncology hospital in Arges. The greenfield project cost over 5 million Euros. Gral Medical Group and Gral Medical Center bring together 14 laboratories, 28 regional collection centers, 14 specialized clinics and 5 OncoFort hospitals. Gral Medical is one of the most important private medical services companies in Romania, and is currently a leader in the oncology segment, in the laboratory analyzes in the capital and in the health cards for individuals.

Dan Doroftei
Development Director of Enayati Medical City, Romania
He has over 10 years of experience in developing healthcare and elderly care projects, both in Romania and in the United States. Enayati Medical City is the first integrated medical institution and the first integrated center for elderly care in Romania, the first institution to educate nurses in the hospital environment. With an investment of 60 million euros, to provide more than 400 jobs, Enayati Medical City is the largest private greenfield investment in Romania.

Ahmet Azakli

After having 15 years of experience in International Construction Project Management, he took certain key roles in Public-Private-Partnership Model based City Hospital Developments in Turkey, the first opened one, 140 Million Euro budgeted Yozgat City Hospital and 1 Billion Euro budgeted Istanbul-Ikitelli Hospital Project. Ahmet Azaklit is also the Project Manager of Enayati Medical City.

Arch. Raluca Boroş has a vast experience in the architecture of medical spaces, and in 2018, she works for two new medical projects: the ProEstetica Clinic and the Monza Metropolitan Clinic. Also, Roof Architecture by architect Raluca Boroș and IC Studio by architect Ioana Corbu are working on the project of the new Statera Medical Clinic, a project which will be completed this year.

The Princess Máxima Centre for Child Oncology designed in The Netherlands by LIAG Architecten brings together all expertise in the field of care and research at the very highest level. The center’s mission is to cure every child with cancer while providing optimal quality of life. The project, completed in 2018, has an area of 45,000 square meters and is the largest child oncology center in Europe.

Andreea Tanase
Urban Planning Consultant at Heritas
With a solid background in urban development, Andreea has a wide interest in the impact of healthcare-led developments on the wider city area. In 2019 she completed the Zonal Urban Plan for the new County & Emergency Hospital in Sibiu and she is currently advising the Order of Architects from Romania on competitions related to healthcare – infrastructure.

Arch. Raluca Șoaita designed the first Pediatric Oncology and Radiotherapy Hospital in Romania, which will be built by the Association „Dăruiește Viață”, within the „Marie Curie” Hospital of Bucharest. She has +10 years of experience in medical architecture.

Camelia Sisak
Partner, Atelier Mass
The diverse range of projects, from architecture and restoration, to interior design and temporary architecture, has been rewarded with both national and regional awards, as well as international participation to the Venice Biennial Architecture. Arch. Camelia Sisak has developed the design project of Polaris Hospital in Cluj, a project that looks for the contemporary way of creating spaces in which the user can feel in a familiar space opposite to the austere hospital, where color and light are the main elements of design.

Lariboisière Hospital
📍France
Lariboisière Hospital in Paris represents a new model of medical space construction and is located in a Paris location that offers the opportunity for a better connection between the city and the hospital.

Mioveni City Hospital
📍 Romania
The hospital will have 6 floors, 250 beds and numerous sections, including Emergency Inpatient Compartment, Intensive Care and an operating room with 4 rooms. The construction of the Mioveni City Hospital started in March 2016, and the financing was fully ensured from the PNDL program and from the budget of the local authorities.

Enayati Medical City
📍 Romania
Enayati Medical City, the 60 million euro greenfield project in Bucharest developed by doctor Wargha Enayati, who founded the private health network Regina Maria, will have about 400 employees, to be opened in January 2021.

The Princess Máxima Center
📍 The Netherlands
The Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology, designed in the Netherlands by LIAG Architecten, brings together the experience at the highest level in the field of care and research. The project was completed in 2018 and has an area of 45,000 sqm.

The Hospital of Pediatric Oncology and Radiotherapy
📍Bucharest, Romania
The Hospital of Pediatric Oncology and Radiotherapy will be the first hospital specialized in pediatric oncology in Romania and will operate within the Marie Curie hospital in Bucharest. Patients will have access to all the pediatric specialties necessary for the holistic treatment of cancer patients.

Yozgat City Hospital
📍 Turkey
Yozgat City Hospital was inaugurated as “Turkey’s First City Hospital” with a total construction area of 142,000 m2 and 475 bed capacity, providing world-standard healthcare services to the communities in Yozgat and neighboring provinces.

MedEuropa
📍 Constanța, Romania
Opened in Constanta in May 2018, MedEuropa is one of the most modern radiotherapy centers in Romania. The clinic has state-of-the-art technologies, such as: a linear accelerator produced in 2018 – Elekta Infinity, a Siemens Somatom Definition AS CT scanner and PTW dosimetry equipment used for periodic calibration and verification of irradiation quality.

Polaris Medical
📍 Cluj-Napoca, Romania
Polaris Medical is set in a unique 6-hectare natural setting, which allows patients to spend much of their time outdoors. Structured on five levels, the hospital has 180 beds for continuous hospitalization, 14 beds for day hospitalization, laboratory, imaging, treatment base and specialized ambulatory.
