Regent High School

📍 UK

The design supports a variety of teaching and learning methods to suit the 1,300 students and the school’s education vision, with a flexible layout that encourages interactive, personal and collaborative working. At the heart of the school is the Arcade, a generous and bright triple-height circulation space that links the new elements of the campus with the original Victorian school building.

The King’s School Shenzhen International

📍 China

In 2017 Walters & Cohen Architects were commissioned by The King’s School, Canterbury, to design The King’s School Shenzhen International. The school offers pupils aged 2 to 18 a combined Chinese and British curriculum, with a greater emphasis on the latter as pupils progress through the school.

HU University of Applied Sciences

📍 THE NETHERLANDS

The 22,310-square-metre Heidelberglaan 15 building is home to eight educational institutes in the economics, management, information communication and technology, and media and communication sectors.

Newnham College

📍 Cambridge

In 2014 Walters & Cohen won an invited competition to design new accommodation for Newnham College, one of the 31 colleges of the University of Cambridge. The original brief was to design a new 75-bedroom student residence on the tennis courts.

St Paul’s School

📍 UK

The building is arranged in an L-shape in order to connect to buildings on either side on all levels, and enclose the central green courtyard known as Founder’s Court. Elegant vertical piers set out an irregular rhythm and form an integral part of the building’s energy efficiency, providing natural ventilation, solar shading and noise attenuation.

Lairdsland Primary School

📍 Scotland

The new building is for 280 pupils aged 4-11 on a brownfield site adjacent to the Forth and Clyde Canal. The location of the building on the site was explored in consultation with the school community. This resulted in placing the building parallel to the water to make the most of the unique site.

Cotham School

📍 UK

Design and Technology is housed in a new single-storey building, giving the school a new student entrance and a stronger presence on Cotham Road. A covered external circulation ‘spine’ connects the new build with the existing, unifying piecemeal buildings and creating a strong façade.

City of Westminster College

📍 UK

Located in the heart of Central London, the flagship campus for City of Westminster College is designed to support new ways of teaching and learning. The building is designed to embrace interaction and diversity, and allows students to learn from each other, both formally and informally.

The quality of the services must be continuously improved, and this is done through regular trainings and last-minute information shared with the relevant departments. Maintenance of hotel spaces is also a priority, as good hotel services cannot compensate for unattended space and vice versa. Openville este cel mai mare proiect de tip mixt din vestul României, aflat în plină dezvoltare în centrul Timişoarei, în proximitatea Iulius Mall. Acesta va fi principalul pol de business, retail şi entertainment din regiune şi va fi inaugurat în primăvara anului 2019, odată cu finalizarea primei etape. Openville va reprezenta o destinaţie cosmopolită de lifestyle, care va include: şapte clădiri de birouri, 450 de magazine, un parc de peste 55.000 mp, restaurante şi cafenele tematice, un nou concept de cinema, carusel pentru copii şi săli de evenimente. Valoarea investiţiei este de peste 220 de milioane de euro.
