Countries around the world are aware, perhaps more than ever, of the importance of local farmers and their vital role in the forefront of national economies, but also in the international supply chain of safe and quality food. “Our Farmers” Campaign, part of the 5th edition of RALF, promotes local farmers in over 20 countries and their active role in supporting the communities they belong to and in economic recovery.
What measures have local farmers taken in the new global economic context? How have they been supported by their own states or international organizations?
