Building HOME & HOTEL 2025: Trends and Innovations Shaping Housing and Hospitality

On May 20, the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel became the center of discussions on the future of living and hospitality, hosting the 7th edition of the Building HOME and HOTEL International Good Living Forum.

This year’s edition, held under the theme “HOME & HOTEL living”, brought forward new residential and hospitality models that redefine the experience of residents and travelers alike. Participants — including investors, developers, architects, and interior designers — discussed global and local trends shaping the future of housing and hotels.

The first plenary session, “Residential and Hospitality Development”, explored recent premium housing and hotel projects, highlighting how residential comfort and hotel-grade services merge to create memorable experiences.

The second session, “Home and Hotel Architecture”, focused on architectural innovation and sustainable design for living and hospitality spaces, showcasing how creative solutions shape functionality, aesthetics, and the user experience.

The final session, “Long-Stay and Short-Stay Living”, examined long-term and short-term living trends, emphasizing flexibility, smart technologies, and the adaptation of mixed-use projects to the needs of modern residents and travelers.

Each session encouraged dialogue among professionals, offering concrete examples and international and local best practices, demonstrating how collaboration between developers, architects, investors, and solution providers can redefine the standards of living and hospitality.

The quality of the services must be continuously improved, and this is done through regular trainings and last-minute information shared with the relevant departments. Maintenance of hotel spaces is also a priority, as good hotel services cannot compensate for unattended space and vice versa. A mix between the two components is ideal and leads to the success of the customer relationship. A hotel’s reputation is its business card. Acesta va fi principalul pol de business, retail şi entertainment din regiune şi va fi inaugurat în primăvara anului 2019, odată cu finalizarea primei etape. Openville va reprezenta o destinaţie cosmopolită de lifestyle, care va include: şapte clădiri de birouri, 450 de magazine, un parc de peste 55.000 mp, restaurante şi cafenele tematice, un nou concept de cinema, carusel pentru copii şi săli de evenimente. Valoarea investiţiei este de peste 220 de milioane de euro.
